Introducing my IVR, eCommerce and online account inquiry applications and more. Links on the left show some work with AJAX, jQuery, Python, etc.
As Technical Services Project Manager/Programmer, I developed an interactive voice
response (IVR) application with Voxeo Designer, ccxml, PHP and three
databases. Using VXML, it acts like a website that interfaces with each client's billing database and payment gateways for ACH and credit card payments, as well as end-of-day payment
posting programs for each client and for AFTS. Dial this application at 206-254-9944 to pay your Cleanscapes Seattle garbage bill. Dial 206-254-9955 for a demo version of Phone-Pay.
PhonePay was a project for Automatic Funds Transfer Services where my
research saved the company several thousand dollars by using Voxeo over
Plum Voice, Envox or others being reviewed. I led the software design, implementation and testing, supervised two programmers, created and maintained Project Management documents and application documentation, and set up IVR accounts for client companies. I trained members of the AFTS sales staff to demo the application and to set up new clients. For more information,
see this reference
letter from my employer.
I customized a web app of 1400 PHP files from this three column template to this two column version and did all of the image work including creating the icons for product groups. You will see some PHP list items which are subfolders, such as includes, while others are PHP files that display pages, such as index. Right-click the displayed page for the PHP. The site appears best full screen.
This web app uses Lincoln Data contract collection software to enable both buyer and seller to view the current status of their accounts. At the first link below, 44166 is the sample account. Click on its link to see more web reports. Then in the left navigation bar, links at the top go to AFTS services while those below go to the pages of this web app demo.
I handled customer relations and data conversion for printing of 1098 and 1099 forms for 13 contract management clients of AFTS, about 17,000 items, beginning with verification of their social security numbers in December and ending with mailings in January and February. Nearly all, like AFTS, use Lincoln Data contract management software. Proposal
I managed the project using this.
We used legacy FoxPro program modules which I documented globally here and in detail here.
Some clients required annual payment coupon books, whose data I managed for printing and documented here.
Documentation requires excellent writing skills, which I exercised for four years as newsletter editor for the Eastside Association of Fine Art. Reference
